About Alexa

My name is Alexa and I bring over three years experience working with children. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments for children. My childcare journey began at Whiz Kids daycare, I worked with infant age through toddler age children. In this role, I developed a strong foundation in early childhood care, including feeding, diapering, creating stimulating sensory activity, and promoting social emotional development. I formed close bond with the children and their families, providing consistent communication and reliable support. This experience taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and flexibility in meeting each child's individual needs. Currently I'm a dance teacher at Apogee Dance Academy, where I work with students age 1 to 12. Teaching dance has strengthened my ability to manage group dynamics, maintain classroom structure, and foster joy through movement in all children. I strive to bring patient, enthusiasm and care to every child.
