I am currently a student majoring in Special Education. While I finish my degree, I am working as a substitute teacher . I worked two years in a program in the therapeutic recreation department. In this program, I worked with teens and adults who have a wide range of disabilities. I also have experience with younger children in a summer program with the same department . I have the most experience working with people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. I have some experience with people who are deaf and blind. I am currently working on learning sign language. I am also more than willing to assist with any care jobs that are outside of special needs.
