About Alethea

I'm CPR, first aid, and AED certified for infants, children, and adults, and am lifeguard certified with deep water and waterfront training. I love working with kids and their families! I've been babysitting since I was 14 years old. In high school I volunteered in my church's nursery every Sunday and was a peer chaplain. In college I was an assistant teacher in a toddler room and took coursework for my media studies degree on child development and how it is affected by media and technology. I was also a summer nanny for a set of early elementary twins. This summer, I was a bunk counselor and lifeguard at a summer camp for LGBTQ teens. I've been working for a family with 2 under 2. I also have experience in petsitting, tutoring, and elder care. I'm confident in my ability to help your kids through their homework, take care of your pets, and have dinner served with a clean kitchen by the end of the day.
