About Aletha

My name is Aletha and I am a longtime childcare worker and a new mom! I worked as a preschool teacher for 4 years, a nanny for 2 years, and a 6th grade teacher for 1. After taking the year off to be home with my son, I am looking for a family that doesn't mind me bringing my 1-year-old along to care for their little one. I have a Bachelor's degree in education and childcare has been my whole life! I emphasize an adaptive, caring environment that encourages children to be independent and secure, knowing that they are supported in explorative learning. I am open to part time and full time work.
