If I could give Ale 6 stars I would. We feel so lucky that we found her! She has primarily taken care of our 1 year old for the past year and done an incredible job. We watched him pretty much full time, most days from 8am-5pm. She was always super punctual to arrive. I consider myself a picky person when it comes to how I want a nanny to engage with my kid and she went above and beyond expectations. She was constantly engaging him and playing with him and it always felt like she treated him like her own son. The warmth and affection they developed was so cute to watch and even though my son did not bond well with his previous caretakers, it did not take him long to love Ale. Beyond that, she's an incredible teacher as he was already able to read his ABCs and 1-10 by the time he was 18 months old. He also talks a ton and knows so many words (I think this is because she is constantly talking to him). She spent a lot of time reading books with him and also took him to music class once a week. We really trust her and are sad she won't be his nanny anymore. She would also sometimes watch my older son (5 yo) while watching my baby. Finally, if the care part of her wasn't good enough, she always did the laundry (happily) and the kitchen and house always looked so clean at the end of day. She was on the higher end of the budget we had planned for childcare, but it was money well spent! Ale is a gem and I would hire her again in a second and hope to keep using her as a babysitter in the future.
