I have been working in education and childcare intermittently for the last seven years. While working on my Bachelors degree I worked both as a nanny, and an after school program tutor. As a nanny I looked after a teen with autism. I assisted him with homework, cooked meals and fostered his creativity with many art and craft projects. As an after school tutor I assisted students with homework and led enrichment activities such as crochet, art history, origami, and outdoor activities. I have most recently been working as an English language instructor for teens and children in Vietnam.

From, providing child care for an autistic boy during her summers while in high school. To, teaching at after school programs, and day care, while working her way through Humboldt State; where she earned an Art degree. Her no none sense approach to conflict resolution is only matched by her love of crafting. Which she has used to enrich the lives of the children in her care in both, the schools shes worked at, and one on one. Basically, if she had a magical bag and umbrella, she would be a twenty-first century Mary Poppins.
