Hi! My name is Ale. I just moved to San Jose on August 1st, and I'm currently studying Liberal Studies with a focus on Special Education at San José State University. I also have an Associate's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and about four years of experience working in special education classrooms. I've supported students with a wide range of learning needs and really enjoy helping them build confidence and independence. My goal is to become a special education teacher in the next few years, and I'm excited to keep learning and growing in this field. I'd describe myself as patient, caring, and a big believer in meeting students where they are. I love creating supportive, low-pressure learning environments where students feel safe to ask questions and be themselves. When I'm not working or studying, you'll usually find me reading a good book or sewing something fun. I'm always happy to bring a little creativity and encouragement to every session!
