About Aleighya

I am currently a 3rd grade teacher enjoying my summer break, with extensive experience working with children of all ages. I have been teaching 4 years. I come from a large family of 10, where I am the 4th oldest, which gave me a natural foundation in caregiving and responsibility from a young age. While completing my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Lead Counselor with the YMCA, overseeing before- and after-school programs and managing groups of 30+ children. This role, along with years of babysitting experience throughout college, helped me build strong skills in supervision, engagement, and creating structured, supportive environments. I enjoy building meaningful, lasting connections with children and families, and I bring both warmth and reliability to the families I work with. In addition to childcare, I also offer tutoring support. I would love the opportunity to support your family this summer!
