About Alecsa

Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile. I'm new to San Francisco, but grew up in the Bay Area. I have recently moved back to work in research, interviewing HIV patients :) In my spare time, I volunteer with a mental health hotline and love to be active around the city. In 2022 my grandma suffered from a stroke and I became one of her caregivers for the next two years. This involved meal preparation, errands, managing medications, bathing, and (of course) socializing. This experience helped me see what were some of the minor challenges older adults face, especially those who have become disabled. I believe this unique experience makes me a great fit for caring for your family member. I have my own car, and can assist in helping pick up groceries, general shopping needs, etc., as well as assist inside the home.
