About Aleah

Hi, I'm Aleah! I've followed my passion of working with children since 2016. Upon earning bachelor's degrees from Central Michigan in family studies & psychology, I became a nanny & completed the Transition to Teaching Master's program at Saint Francis. I taught kindergarten for one year where I quickly learned there is a massive need for social skills & emotional regulation. My goal is to care for 4-5 children ages 0-5, where our focus will be social-emotional learning & preschool/kindergarten readiness! I enjoy teaching & pull many ideas from the Montessori method, so your child will be learning practical life skills under my care as well. I love witnessing children discover new things & share their joys with one another, while also learning to navigate those very real daily challenges (fights with friends/siblings, bullying, failure, etc).
