About Alayna

I really enjoy working with children and helping them grow into their own wonderfully unique individuals! As an artist I love planning fun/ age appropriate activities and crafts to encourage creativity and practical skills! I am a very hard worker willing to cook, clean, do laundry, look after pets, and help with transportation and school work. As an older sister, cousin, and daughter of a teacher I have looked after young children and teens for nearly my entire life, and I feel confident in my ability to provide care hallmarked by variety and enrichment. I would describe myself as calm, caring, and attentive; I like to listen to and work with a child's needs in accordance with parental guidelines. I feel very strongly about children's safety as it is a very personal concern. I promise that any child in my care will be protected and given the tools to behave and respond to situations safely.
