About Alayna

I’d describe my personality as: 1. Dependable 2. Detail-oriented 3. Kind I like working with kids because I like being apart of their world and making a difference in their life. I’m looking for a position that welcomes newcomers to the field and provides opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on experience. I started working with kids in April 2025, where I volunteered at my church's childcare center. I began my first daycare job in August of 2025, where I now currently work. One thing you should know about me is I have been in multiple leadership roles since I was in high-school. I know how to take initiative and handle responsibilities. My skills include: 1. Engaging in creative and play based learning without the use of screens. 2. Child safety and supervision. Ensuring children are changed, fed, and napping on a routine schedule. 3. Fostering independence in children. I give them a voice and have them participate in real-life activities that will create good habits.
