About Alayna

Hi! I'm Alayna, a tutor with nearly five years of experience supporting children in both academic and early childhood settings. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, with a CDA and specialized training in Early Childhood Education and I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Childhood Psychology. My background in childcare has taught me how to meet children where they are academically, emotionally, and developmentally. I focus on building not only skills, but also confidence, patience, and a love for learning. Whether we're working on reading, writing, math, or study habits, I tailor each session to the child's individual learning style and pace. My goal is to create a calm, encouraging space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow because that's where true learning happens.
