Hi, I'm Alayna! I grew up taking care of multiple family members with mental and physical disabilities. With that experience, I have been able to care for other special needs children, in both a professional and caring manner. My experiences include Autism, ADD/ADHD, vision impairments, anxiety, depression, OCD, Down Syndrome, children with allergies, and children with diabetes. I have CPR/First Aid training, and I have experience with EPI pen and insulin injections, hygiene, positive reinforcement, and behavioral analysis. I have taken developmental, parenting, and psychological disorder classes that have furthered my education on special needs. I plan on getting a PhD in Psychology, and focusing my studies on children. I feel it's important for a child to have that extra someone with the education in development. That being said, I would be able to provide a safe, stable, fun, comfortable and educational environment for your child/children :)
