About Alayna

I recently completed my sophomore year at the University of St. Thomas, and I graduated from Minnetonka High School. As a student myself, I understand that learning new concepts can sometimes be challenging, and I enjoy helping others work through those difficulties and build confidence in their abilities. While I haven't worked as a paid tutor before, I have spent years helping my younger brothers with their schoolwork across a variety of subjects. Through that experience, I've learned how to explain concepts in different ways, stay patient, and help students develop effective study habits. As a Computer Science major, I especially enjoy Math and Science, but I have also excelled in English throughout my academic career. I work with elementary and middle school students in Math, English, Science, etc and general study skills. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their academic goals.
