About Alayna

Hi everyone, I'm Alayna! I'm a graduate student in the USF Marriage & Family Therapy Master's program, and I genuinely enjoy working with families-especially young children. Over the past year, I've worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing individualized support to children diagnosed with autism. I bring a fun, energetic presence and pride myself on quickly adapting to each child's unique interests and needs. After spending even a short amount of time together, I develop a strong sense of what helps a child feel engaged, comfortable, and emotionally regulated. One of my biggest strengths is building trust and connection with children. I have a strong imagination and love engaging in play-whether that's creating games, telling stories, or joining in activities that feel meaningful to them. At the same time, I value structure, routines, and safety, and I balance fun with clear, gentle boundaries. Bonus: I have reliable transportation, am CPR and First Aid certified.
