About Alauna

Alauna was absolutely wonderful with our family. She cared for our son when he was approximately 8–10 months old, and from the beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She was warm, dependable, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around. She has a great sense of humor and brought such a positive, upbeat energy into our home. What really stood out was how intentional she was about his development. She regularly planned age-appropriate activities that were engaging and thoughtfully chosen based on what he was learning and interested in at that stage. She clearly put thought into activities that supported his development rather than simply keeping him occupied. She was wonderful about encouraging him to explore, learn, and build new skills through play. She was also fantastic with baby-led weaning. She took the time to prepare and offer foods in an age-appropriate and thoughtful way, introduced different textures and foods, and made mealtimes a positive experience. We really appreciated how attentive she was to his cues and individual needs. Alauna was patient, communicative, responsible, and genuinely invested in our son’s well-being. She took the time to get to know his personality and interests, and it was clear that she really enjoyed spending time with him. We would wholeheartedly recommend Alauna to any family looking for a caregiver who is loving, trustworthy, engaging, and truly invested in a child’s development. She goes above and beyond, and we feel very lucky that our son had her in his life.
