About Alanna

I have been working in the field of education for 20+ years ranging from preschool to upper elementary. I was a stay at home mother for 10 years while raising my own children who are now in college. Currently, I teach fourth grade and have been at the same school for the past nine years. I am passionate about outdoor learning and began a Nature Club at my school. I'd describe my personality as patient, humorous, and sensitive. I like working with kids because of their honesty and sense of wonder. I'm looking for a job in which I can provide assistance to a family by caring for their children and forming a relationship with them. Looking for a seasonal summer position. I started working with kids when I was just a kid- 30+ years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, camping, attending outdoor concerts, and photography.
