About Alanna

I've been a pet parent since 2011. I've had cats, rabbits, fish, and a dog. I've been pet sitting on and off for the same amount of time. I've walked nervous dogs, dogs who eat everything off the ground, and an elderly dog who sometimes has seizures. I believe that the best way to care for animals is to read their body language in every situation, and to communicate clearly with their family about anything I observe or have questions about. Food and bathroom activities are just one part of animal care. Animals want to be seen, engaged with, and respected. Animals love easily and they can sense when they are loved back. That makes for the strongest relationship between animals and people.
