About Alanis

Hi! I'm Alanis and I'm a long-term substitute teacher in the Hillsborough City School District and an incoming intern teacher for Fall 2026. I'm looking for a summer nanny position where I can support a family with the same care, structure, and creativity I bring to my classroom. I've worked with children from TK through middle school across teaching, youth programs, and summer camps, so I'm very comfortable planning engaging days, keeping routines consistent, and creating activities that are fun and developmentally meaningful. School staff describe me as calm, reliable, and genuinely kid-centered. I love building days around outdoor play, crafts, reading time, and hands-on learning. I'm also happy to help with meals, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, fluent in English and decent in Spanish and ASL, and comfortable caring for multiple children. I'd love to support your family this summer.
