About Alan

Hello! My name is Alan O, and I am a Special Education Teacher, adaptive music instructor, and professional artist with over 20 years of experience in education, music, communication, and performance. I currently work as an Education Specialist and IEP Case Manager, supporting students with autism, ADHD, communication, behavioral, and emotional regulation needs. I am completing my MAE and California Education Specialist Credential. I provide tutoring and support in reading, writing, study skills, Spanish, music (voice, piano, guitar, songwriting), communication, creative expression, and adaptive learning for neurodivergent learners, teens, and adults with disabilities. My approach is patient, creative, structured, and encouraging, with a strong focus on confidence, independence, and meaningful connection.
