About Alana

Hello! I'm Alana, an actor and recent UMichigan grad based in Brooklyn, NY. I have babysat for one child (7 yo) for a year in Brooklyn, picking him up from school and cooking dinner. I've been a nanny for an Upper Westside family, caring for 2 toddlers under the age of 3, one with special needs. I assisted with cleaning, dinners, school pick up, and classes. Occasionally I assist other families that need help every now and then. Games, anything to keep the kids busy with an activity, playing pretend or theater games are my specialty. I'm very passionate about the creative arts, and I can help with school drop-offs/pick-ups, grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning. I have a driver's license, but I don't have a car here. I have childcare experience from high school and college, teaching dance classes for over 8 years. I love working with children because they inspire me to be more joyful. I worked at a summer camp in FL after college as well.
