About Alana

Hi there! My name is Alana and I am a 25-year-old living in Lakeview with 7+ years in paid childcare. I began as a mother's helper at age 15 and continued my work in childcare since then! I describe myself as an energetic, imaginative & positive person especially when it comes to working with kids. My strengths are my creativity, communication, and flexibility. I currently work a 9-5 full time but am looking for more opportunities to continue working in childcare due to my passion & joy that I get from working with children. My previous experience in childcare includes - 2 years as an after school nanny - 5 years as a full time summer nanny - 2 years as a gymnastics coach for ages 3-13 - 1 year as a preschool teachers aid - 2 years in early education courses I am also an animal lover with precious pet-care experience as well! I look forward to meeting your family & getting to make a positive impact on you and your children's lives.
