About Alana

Hello! My name is Alana and I am a current college student at Sarah Lawrence College. I love helping taking care of kids and finding fun ways of entertainment so that they feel enriched. I have been helping take care of kids my whole life because I come from a big family with a lot of little cousins. However, I professionally started babysitting when I was 14 and have continued on and off in college. My freshman year of college I also got a job at P. S. 30 where I was a teachers aid to third graders. I loved that job and had it for about a year before I had to stop it because of conflicts in my college schedule. Kids are very smart and perceptive even at very young ages, which I think a lot of people don't realize. They understand and communicate in a way that they understand even if we don't. But I believe if someone has the time and patience then they can understand. I would love to work with your children and would be an asset to your family!
