About Alana

Hi! My name is Alana, and I'm a pre-veterinary student with extensive hands-on animal experience both academically and at home. Through my studies, I've gained practical experience working with animals in a professional and care-focused setting, which has strengthened my ability to recognize animal behavior, follow detailed care instructions, and prioritize safety and well-being. In addition to my academic experience, I'm a lifelong pet owner. At home, I care for three cats, one dog, and a ferret, so I'm very comfortable managing different species, personalities, and routines. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are when caring for animals, whether that means feeding, administering basic care, cleaning enclosures or litter boxes, providing enrichment and playtime, or giving extra love and reassurance.
