About Alaina

Hi! My name is Alaina, and I'm currently a psychology student at USC Columbia with minors in counselor education and sociology. I have experience in working with children in classroom settings as an elementary school teaching assistant and in clinical settings as a behavior technician for children with autism. I enjoy working with children because each child has a unique personality, making it meaningful to get to know them. I'm a member of the Carolina Band and I was a Girl Scout for 12 years! With this, I have been taught CPR and first aid. Over the years, I have developed patience, strong communication skills, and an understanding of how to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment. I enjoy helping children learn, play, and feel comfortable while maintaining consistent routines and expectations. I am dependable, compassionate, and attentive to each child's individual needs.
