About Alaina

Hi there! My name is Alaina, i'm a 21-year-old graduate from the University of South Florida, with a Bachelors degree in public relations and advertising and a minor in mass communications. I have 3 years of childcare experience; 2 years working for an after school/summer camp and 1 year of freelance babysitting through care. com. I am also CPR/First Aid certified and have a reliable form of transportation. I previously worked for Hillsborough County as a camp counselor working with children from 5-9 years old, in groups of 15+ children at a time. Here I was responsible for helping with homework, planning and leading activities such as group games, group crafts and overseeing free play. I do my best to avoid screen time and encourage outdoor play. I'm more than willing to help with homework, housework and meal prep! I love animals, anything crafty, and I'm passionate about providing a safe space for children to express themselves, encourage their imagination and have fun!!
