About Akua

I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and initiative. I like working with kids to help in the development of the child through nurturing and intentional care! I am excited to help foster an environment that will support growth and maturity! I started working with the kids since the age of 14! I would babysit 2 kids one the age of 2 and the other the age of 5 who was on the spectrum! Over the years I was a teacher assistant for the Sunday school academy held at All Nations Church and in 2023. In my spare time, I like to go for runs, hang out with family and friends! I also love to read. I am very initiative when it comes to caring for children! I am intentional to implement activities that stimulate the growth of one's mind along with instilling disciplinary actions that will help set healthy and safe boundaries. I am also very playful, I like joining in on the games and allowing the children to fully express oneself! My skills include initiative, playful, and caring.
