Akua has taken care of my wife Nancy D for 3+ years. Towards the end my wife required critical nursing care involving multiple very challenging care duties. Akua not only provided exceptional care for Nancy involving transfers without using a Hoyer lift (using an assist caregiver) at my request, tube feeding, complex medication management, assisted in physical therapy, toileting, bathing, ….etc., with exceptional skills. She managed my wife’s communications as she was non verbal. Currently Akua provides care for me to get through a very difficult time in my life. No doubt she has become an integral part of our family as she supports my daughter and her children at time with their meals. Her cooking abilities and house management are an asset. I would recommend her for any opportunities should she decide to take another job. I would like to continue taking her help to get me through this journey should she decide to stay with us.
