About Akouvi

Akouvi was our nanny for nine years from 2016- Jan 2025. It was with great sorrow that our employment contract came to an end earlier this year because both of my kids are now in elementary school. I cannot say enough about the blessing that Akouvi has been to our family. She was so supportive of me as a new mom of a child with special needs and always encouraged me in advocating for my son. She is kind, patient, loving and responsible. She hardly ever took a sick day. She is brilliant and an excellent educator, as is reflected in all of her own children also being in gifted programs and valedictorians at their respective schools. She is the main reason that both of my kids were reading fluently in preschool and are now in advanced math. I wish that we could’ve afforded to have her here with us forever, but our loss will certainly be another family’s gain.
