About Akoray

- I find so much joy in spending time with children. I am intentional about the way I show up, & strive to make a positive impact on every child I care for. I aim to cultivate a nurturing & uplifting environment that fosters kindness & boosts self esteem. - I have experience with ages 0 mos/newborn- 17 years old (with disabilities). I have volunteer experience with the MN Special Olympics, & was a member of Club U. S. (Unified Students) at Wayzata High School, which worked to unite & build meaningful relationships among all students! - I spent 1 year serving the City of Minneapolis as a 911 call taker. While in this role, I further developed my ability to remain compassionate & calm under pressure. I value the knowledge I gained & training that I went through as it made me highly skilled in the ability to rapidly assess & respond to situations. - I love sports, being active, & spending time outside. I am a former D1 athlete, I competed for the University of Denver gymnastics team!
