Prior to behavior health I served within church environments assisting with summer camps, children's church, and leading the children's ministry of a missions trip. I love creating an atmosphere for children's creative minds to grow! I truly believe enthusiasm, fun, and listening is the framework in creating boundless possibilities for healthy relationships, when caring for children. Through experiences and work environments I continue to grow in understanding how to love on the upcoming generation and inspire their inner dreams and desires.

Akilah has been a wonderful addition to our family, and we are truly grateful for the time she spent with us as our nanny. During the three months she cared for our children, she consistently went above and beyond. Our kids absolutely loved her! She took exceptional care of them and engaged with them in meaningful and patient ways every day. Beyond her responsibilities, Akilah felt like family. We shared similar values and faith, which made trusting her with our children feel completely natural. Although we had to part ways due to an unexpected layoff, we would absolutely hire her again without hesitation. We highly recommend Akilah. She is truly the best, and any family would be fortunate to have her.
