About Akiko

I have experience with children of all ages. I have worked as teacher assistant and lead teacher in several daycares. I'm looking for a part time job for the summer since I will be going back to school in the fall to complete my BFA. My years of childcare experience solidified my desire to positively impact young lives. I have a college degree and training in Early Childhood Education (ECE). I can comfortably care for up to two children of any age group. I communicate verbally at pickup, and I'm happy to follow your preferred method. I also follow your lead when enforcing household rules. I can assist with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts - provided you are willing to provide materials or money for me to buy them, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am passionate about providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for your children. I hope to work with you and your family!
