About Akevia

Hi! My name is Akevia, and I'm 22 years old. I currently work as a preschool teacher at Grace Community Christian Preschool and Daycare, where I care for and teach young children daily, and I also babysit for families outside of work. I'm originally from Meridian, Mississippi, and spent several years on the Gulf Coast before settling in Wiggins. Working with children has truly become a passion of mine. I love helping them learn, grow, and feel safe and cared for. I work in a Christian environment and carry those same values into how I care for children, focusing on kindness, patience, and respect. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga and spending time outdoors with my Yorkie, Paris. I absolutely love dogs and am very comfortable around pets. I'm reliable, nurturing, and flexible, and I pride myself on creating a fun, safe, and structured environment for every child I care for.
