About Akera

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my primary goal. With two years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, test preparation, and essential study skills. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment for every child. I assess individual learning styles by encouraging open communication about what methods work best for them. When students face challenging concepts, I keep them motivated by celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement. I believe open dialogue with both students and parents allows me to adapt my approach for optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student achieve a significant academic goal is the most rewarding aspect of my work. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child thrive and build lasting confidence in their abilities.
