About Aisha

Hello! My name is Dr. Yapp. I recently graduated with my doctorate in counseling psychology. While in college and grad school I was a nanny in my spare time. I supported several families over the past 10 years and cared for newborn children up until teenage years. Additionally, I've supported families with pre-term babies and specialized care. I am very comfortable with all age groups. Additionally, I can support older adults with companion care. I have formal training and an understanding of the needs of the geriatric population from my work in the hospital and senior living facility. I believe my strength as a caregiver stems from my psychological training, specifically understanding the needs of others and effectively and systematically implementing support that brings families at ease. My performance evaluations often include high ratings about dependability, dignified care and concern, advocacy, attention to detail, and innovation.
