Trained as a Wildlife Biologist, I have a lot of experience safely capturing, handling, restraining and taking biometrics from various species of wild animals including but not limited to small and large birds (banding and application of satellite transmitters included), turtles and seals. I have personally owned cats, dogs, turtles/tortoises and fish and have paid experience caring for dogs, cats, turtles/tortoises, fish (fresh & marine species), birds (large & small), hedgehogs, hamsters/gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, lizards/geckos, frogs, chameleons and insect gardens. I have a true passion for animals and there are few that I feel uncomfortable handling and/or caring for. With training in the use of forensic science in the field of conservation, I am very conscious of animal welfare and the humane treatment of animals and feel strongly that pets are part of the family and should always be treated as such. With that said, your pets will always be in good hands with me!
