Aside from being a wife and mom, I've provided attentional care and support to young people for many years. Every parent knows the importance of compassion, patience, consistency and fun that a caregiver should bring. And for some of us, it comes naturally. Early in my teaching career, I had the honor of being a part of a home school group that was also structured and well thought out. Those young people are now graduates of MIT, Northwestern University and other well respected educational institutions.
