I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including picture updates. I will always follow your household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles with children. In my experience I have found a great way to beak up the day is with trips to places like playgrounds and libraries. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.

I have First Aid Training and CPR Training, and experience with special needs children. I'm excited to bring my experience and caring nature to your family.

Ainsley did great with our kid, put in the extra effort to engage him even though he was having a shy kind of day. Very flexible and easygoing with a withdrawn special needs kid, and he ended up having a really nice night. Thanks Ainsley!

Ainsley was great with our child! She arrived on time, communicated with us and our son was very happy with her. We highly recommend hiring her. 

Ainsley came over to watch our 2.5 year old for two days and did wonderfully with her. She found a variety of games and activities to play with her, sang songs and fed her meals. We would definitely hire Ainsley again!

I tried to do it through the app but she messages me and says well you don't have to bother I'll show up at 4:00. I'm like well give me your number and I'll call you if you're not here or whatever and she sent me all these messages saying I will be there don't worry. She never showed up she never messaged and here I sit.. $25 an hour is what I was going to pay her but she never showed she never wrote me she knows how to email me she sent me like 6 emails last night. I would stay right away from this one if you don't want your time wasted and I'm thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with the whole situation because they give you no way to contact her when she doesn't show up. And on top of that she shut off messaging so I couldn't even message her. In a word I feel she is toxic and a liar because she over and over and over she said I'll be there and then never even messaged. Then I try to contact her and she shuts off messaging so I can't even contact her. It's all care.com about it and they told me to leave this review. I tried to hire Ashley but I couldn't because you never showed up I did hire Ashley she just like pay me when I get there or whatever and she never called and never showed up

Ainsley was so friendly and engaging, our 2-year-old warmed up to her right away and had a great time with her! She also handled our two dogs well. We look forward to having her babysit again for more much-needed parent nights! 

Did not seem to really make much of attempt to play with our son for the hour before bedtime. Instead, she put him to bed 1 hr early without asking us if that was okay.

Ainsley did a wonderful job taking care of my 11mo daughter. She was attentive, patient, dependable, and pleasant to have around. We would absolutely ask Ainsley to babysit our daughter again.

Ainsley was wonderful. We had her come for a working interview and she was punctual, very communicative, and got along great with our 5 month old who has little experience with people outside our family. She jumped in to caring for our daughter immediately and was a lot of fun to boot! She has great experience and references. Ultimately we hired a nurse due to my daughter's medical needs, but Ainsley was so great I wanted to make sure she got our glowing recommendation.

Ainsley was wonderful with our one year old son so that mom and dad could have a date night :) she was prompt, attentive and caring to our son. Would recommend!

We needed help for two days for a family wedding. Ainsley helped with our granddaughters, aged 7 and 5.
It was as if she was already part of the family!!
The girls took to her instantly! She brought her experience with kids on the autism spectrum and was perfect with all activities, communication, and dealings with the girls!
We couldn't have gone without her help.

Our experience with Ainsley was less than ideal.  To give her the benefit of the doubt, I recognize it's tricky to babysit for a new family with 3 kids 4 and under.  

We were only going out for 2 hours, for our first time in years, and I sadly was on my phone almost the whole time because I kept getting alerts from our smart crib that my 4-month-old needed my care, and texts from Ainsley. Again, giving Ainsley the benefit of the doubt, she had never babysat for an infant using a smart crib (Snoo), so not understanding the technology is understood.  (I appreciated that she did some research on it beforehand.) 

But it was very frustrating to me that she didn't seem to have the common sense as an experienced, adult care giver to at least figure out how to soothe our baby instead of sending me texts that the baby was "pissed" and "must be hungry." (She was not hungry.) 

I will take responsibility that I did not do a thorough job interviewing Ainsley, since it was only for 2 hours while my kids would be asleep. I assumed based on her profile and reviews she was a seasoned pro, but that was not my experience with our infant. 

She most likely is great with toddlers. She came in with quite a presence and just started reading stories to them, which was helpful. 

Overall just not a great experience and disappointed we couldn't really have our night out we had hoped.

Ainsley is a superstar. I work from home and normally send my 4 year old to a year-round preschool program, but I hired Ainsley to babysit during a week that school was closed. My daughter is a clingy introvert and a bit of a diva who likes to be in charge, but Ainsley was persistent with setting boundaries with my daughter which I LOVED. My daughter enjoyed going for walks with Ainsley and working on puzzles with her. Ainsley is very professional and an excellent communicator. She was very quick and responsive about scheduling hours and dependable to boot!

Ainsley came twice at home and she bonded super easily with our 4 kids aged 1-6. She was funny and able to capt their attention as well as setting limits at the same time. It's easy to see how experienced and reliable she is. We would have been happy to trust her with our kids for a long term position.

Ainsley has been fantastic with our 4-year old J. She is flexible, reliable, and punctual, and gentle and kind with our kiddo. We're so glad she was available!

Ainsley helped us out with our toddler granddaughter.  Ainsley was attentive, caring and pleasant. Our granddaughter was teething, and Ainsley handled the situation well.  We would certainly hire her again.

We needed a babysitter last minute, for one day. I found Ainsley the night before we urgently needed someone to watch our children. Even though we could have managed without a babysitter the following days, we ended up asking Ainsley to come back because she did such a wonderful job. Ainsley played with the children, took them for walks, respected nap time, and had the children listen to her. She is kind but firm. She texted us throughout the day to keep us informed of what she was doing with the children - priceless. Ainsley knows the Boston area very well. We were in Cambridge and Ainsley had no problem commuting for 1 hour on a tight schedule to accommodate us.

A great last minute babysitter that played with the kids, made them lunch and made sure everyone was safe.  She would be best for a family that likes a schedule with sit down meal times and such, instead of one that is more flexible and responsive to the children's schedule.  However, she is kind and firm.  She is also great at communicating with the parents, which we loved. A great date night choice!
