My experience with working with seniors is in the current nursing home I work at. I work on the long term care unit and I love it! Although it is very challenging sometimes, I leave feeling fulfilled that I was able to help a few people feel better that day. I help my residents get up and dressed for the day, if it is their shower day I give them a shower, I feed them if they need to be fed, I toilet them when they need to go and I talk to them if they need someone to talk to.
