About Aimee

Hi, I'm Aimee! I'm a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a trilingual caregiver fluent in ASL, Spanish, and English. I've been caring for children for about 7 years across WA, DC, and NY, working in daycares, preschools, and private homes. I have experience with infants through school-age children and am comfortable caring for one to three kids, depending on the family's needs. My style is playful, flexible, and child-led -- I enjoy connecting with each child in the way that works best for them and supporting their independence through everyday routines. My background in speech-language pathology helps me bring patience, awareness, and strong communication skills to caregiving. I have a reliable car, am comfortable with pets, and can assist with light household tasks as needed. I'm currently available for one-time or seasonal daytime positions.
