Updated 8/2018: I am 24 years old and I have 5 younger siblings. I have cared for each of them since their births. This includes child care, cooking, cleaning up after, picking up from school, homework, etc. Currently they range from ages 20 to 11. One of my siblings has ADHD and OCD. Some of the important characteristics that I possess that helps with child care is patience and talking things through with the child. I have worked for multiple families in multiple age ranges as well as working as a Summer Camp Counselor were I was the counselor for 9-year-olds for a group of 23 with 3 other counselors. I have been using Care. com to connect with families for about 4 or 5 years and have babysat and house sat for several families for long periods of time. The families I have worked for have had multiple age ranges of children. I have never had any issues with any families I have worked for and have been dependable and responsible while still being well liked by the parents and children.
