About Aida

Starting as a Youth Summer Camp counselor at the age of 17, I realized that my passion for working with kids would be life-long. I retained a position with Naval Station Everett Child & Youth Programs for several years, moving from School-Age Care to Early Childhood Development and back again, until I decided to breakaway from government work to find my own path. Now, much happier and freer, I work for a grant funded organization called Washington Alliance for Better Schools in their 21st Century Afterschool Program for low-income, high-risk Elementary School children. Though the work is very rewarding, the hours are only part-time. I hope to expand on my knowledge and experience in childcare by seeking a relaxed, yet active family to Nanny for roughly 20+ hours per week.
