About Ahotuku

I have more than 10 years of experience working in the healthcare industries especially experiences in caring for seniors. I have worked at hospitals, nursing homes, homes health as a caregiver. As a caregiver, I have gained experiences in providing a safe environment and direct patient care for my patients. I coordinate therapeutic, health related programs and activities for my patients, guide and support each individual/patient with daily activities including meal planning, shopping, social activities, personal finance and much more. My professional experiences with different employers has provided me strong expertise in personal care assistance such as bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming, medication management, companionship and discussion, housekeeping, running household tasks, engaging clients in activities such as games, book reading, and light exercise. I have broadened my knowledge working with different types of patients. I have worked with autistic patients, dementia, Alzheimer's and much more. I am passionate about care giving because in our culture it is our responsibility to respect and care for our elderly.
