About Ahnissa

Hello everyone! My name is Ahnissa and I moved to Austin, TX from the west coast. I started out my childcare experience working as an intern at Southwest YMCA Camp on an unpaid internship. I was 17 years old at the time. At the age of 19, I took care of the mentally disabled as well as children with autism. They are such a joy to have as clients and I enjoy teaching and interacting with them. I then continued to babysit and nanny for various families and have gained amazing experience over the years. Now at the age of 31, I have been a caregiver for over 12 years and have worked with the elderly while also babysitting. Yes, care giving can be a challenge but in the end it's always worth it. The reason I continued to care for children on the side is because I can honestly say I enjoy working with them. I'm currently looking for a few hrs daytime weekdays/weekends. Date night sitting on weekends and some weekdays. Not available for full/part time work. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.
