Hello everyone! My name is Ahnissa and I moved here to Washington from California. I started out my childcare experience working as an intern at Southwest YMCA on an unpaid internship. I was 17 years old at the time. At the age of 19, I took care of the mentally disabled and children with autism. They are such a joy to have as clients and I enjoy teaching and interacting with them. I then continued to babysit and nanny for various families and have gained amazing experience over the years. Now at the age of 29, I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. Worked with the elderly while also babysitting and being a nanny. Yes, caregiving can be a challenge but in the end it's always worth it. The reason I continued to care for children on the side is because I can honestly I enjoy working with them. I'm currently looking for a few hrs daytime on weekends as well as date night sitting on weekends. Not available for full/part time work. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.

Ahnissa cared for my three daughters for 7 months and she is everything a parent or guardian could want in a caregiver. Ahnissa is dependable, punctual, and never called in sick. Ahnissa responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following: feeding, transporting to and from school, taking them to activities, assisting with daily chores, laundry, and pet care. Ahnissa's best quality is that she is extremely patient which comes in handy when dealing with three children who are ages 5, 4, and 3. She is also very mature, handles discipline issues impeccably, and is overall a lovely person to be around. Every time I asked Ahnissa to help me with something or complete something around the house, she never hesitated to get the task done. The only reason Ahnissa no longer cares for my daughters is due to my health and we miss her dearly. My daughters continue to ask about her and ask to see her again. All in all, any family would be lucky to have Ahnissa in their lives.
