About Afton

For the last two and a half years I have worked as a part time nanny for four kids, ages 1 to 11. During my time with their family I have tutored the children in spelling, math, reading, and more basic education. I have built strong personal relationships with the kids through kindness, constant interaction, creative play, and positive reinforcement. I have taught the children art and helped foster their creativity and imagination! I also help with cooking, cleaning, and driving the kids to afterschool activities. I love working with kids because they are precious and I believe that children deserve to be seen and loved no matter how young. I love helping kids discover who they are and coming alongside them as they learn about the world! Although I am young I have a very real passion for kids. Not only to care for them but to truly love and understand them. I believe I've been given a very authentic love for kids and a gift of connecting with them.
