About Afiah

August 11, 2025 I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for Afiah who was a wonderful caregiver for my father. I have known Afiah for four years. She cared for my father until he passed away. Afiah is extremely knowledgeable regarding caring for the aged. She is CBRF and HHA certified. Caring for elders is definitely a vocation for Afiah and this is evident in the excellent care she provides for the clients with whom she works. My dad who was 99 years old (and 7 months) enjoyed Afiah a great deal. He liked her because she was a great listener and she treated him with dignity. Afiah has a great sense of humor. So did my father! He really appreciated that about her. She also was such a dedicated worker. When she said she would do something, it would get done. She was also so reliable. She takes her job very seriously and can be depended on. My dad had spinal stenosis and was wheelchair bound. She helped him with bathroom tasks, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and activities of daily living. When my father was in hospice, Afiah was such a comfort to him and to my family. She reassured us and adeptly helped us walk through the stages of my dad’s steps to heaven, I am, and always will be grateful to Afiah’s guidance and care during one of the most difficult times of my life; saying goodbye to my dad. Afiah and I still keep in contact, even since my father has passed away. She is an extraordinary person who is a blessing to her profession. Afiah is extremely empathic and compassionate and I’m sure you will detect this the instant you meet her. I highly recommend Afiah as a caretaker for your loved one. She is gracious, talented, a superior caretaker, who is very trustworthy. I would recommend her without any hesitation.
