Hi all! My name is Adriana. I am 26 years old and have 12 years of experience working with children as a nanny, lead/assistant teacher at daycares, and as a DSP. I am currently in college pursuing my OTA career and start my internship from January-May. I am looking for a family during that time who may either need weekend help (weekly, one long day or both days, shorter shifts), or possibly evenings after 5 p.m. (shorter hours, nothing too late). Hoping for around 10-15 hours, but can be negotiable depending on the days/times! - I have years of experience with typical and neurodivergent children - I have cared for several families through Facebook and nannying apps/websites and have plenty of reliable references -I previously went to college for Elementary Education -I genuinely enjoy working with children and want to continue doing this in my future career as an OTA! First time mom here and it was our first time with a babysitter. Our daughter had only ever been with Grandma previously and she very quickly warmed up to Adriana, within minutes of first meeting! Adriana was early and immediately engaged with our daughter in a way that was captivating to her. There was clearly a connection between the two, a credit to Adriana, kids are clearly drawn to her. Our daughter had never been put to bed by anyone other than myself or Grandma. She slept well and was excited to see Adriana again the next day. Adriana was successful in figuring out what our daughter needed, not a coincidence given all of her experience with children. I am looking forward to hiring Adriana again, and being able to feel at ease knowing our daughter is in good hands.
