About Adriana

UO college student studying philosophy and neuroscience. I focus on how crucial early intervention, gentle care, emotional safety, and strong adult relationships are in healthy development. I speak both English and Spanish and love to help children learn or strengthen Spanish skills. I bring creativity into childcare through crocheting, sewing, painting, drawing, cooking, and fun activities like dance parties, games, and even juggling. I worked with a family for two years caring for two tweens, I have three years of special needs care experience in a school setting where I developed deescalation, patience, and untraditional communication skills. Additionally, helping raise my three younger siblings gave me hands-on experience from infancy through adolescence. I prioritize providing care that aligns with each family's routines, values, and needs. I treat every child with the same patience, attentiveness, and kindness that I would want for my own loved ones. I hope to meet you soon!
