About Adora

Hi! My name is Adora and I am seeking a part-time sitter job near Beacon! I previously worked full-time for Western Suffolk BOCES as a special education teacher aide in an ABA program at the elementary level. I also took a part-time sitter position for 2 adolescent children, one of whom was on the spectrum. I have previous experience working as an assistant teacher at an early childhood education center & have experience supervising up to 5 toddlers with no assistance. I have also gained experience working with children from 5 mos. old to 5 years old in this position. I have trainings in early intervention, managing challenging behavior (birth - 36 mos.), supervision of children, and more. I am currently a graduate student at SUNY New Paltz for a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. I also have a bachelor's degree in health science, concentrated in disability studies and human development from University.
